Peter L. DeNagy is the Managing Principal at Acommence Advisors, Inc., a technology industry consultancy focused on business acceleration and velocity generation for start-up and mature organizations. With deep roots in the Mobile, Network, Communications and Systems Integration arena, Acommence Advisors is focused on Sales, Strategy, Research and Analysis, Innovation and Ideation, Business Development and Strategic Alliance growth and support driving business acceleration and velocity. The firm’s foremost goals are helping organizations and businesses develop strategic plans around utilization, ROI and TCO calculations, revenue generation, sales rationalization and deployment strategies with services including; revenue generation and sales strategy, market analysis, organizational and product design and ideation, systems provisioning, cost containment, program construction, deployment and operation plans to introduce Social, Mobility, IT, Communication platforms that forward the organization’s business mission and value proposition.

With new technologies impacting the enterprise, Acommence Advisors staff has driven initiatives such as: mHealth, mEducation, SFA, FFE & mBusiness as well as Mobile Payment/Commerce, Mobile Security, Social Media and M2M strategies for Smart Devices, (Smartphones & Tablets), and Wearable Computing platforms, (Glassed, Watches, Biometric Sensors, Apparel…). Additionally, we have been dedicated to the integration aspect of the ecosystem including technologies such as mobile platforms and middleware, backend integration to ERP and CRP deployments, virtualization, hypervisor, container, VPN and security schema as well as API, SDK, and integration management.

Additionally, acting as strategic business coaches for startup companies and reinvented mature organizations alike, Acommence Advisors, Inc. works with Carriers, ISV's, TEMS providers, Consulting Organizations and System integrators regarding go to market strategies, market position, market dynamics, alliance integration and market penetration solutions.

Formerly, Peter was the US General Manager for Enterprise Mobility Enablement for Samsung Telecommunications America, (STA). There, he developed Samsung's US GTM enterprise strategy, built and ran Samsung's enterprise overlay support organization enabling US Wireless Carriers to better position Samsung mobile devices and wireless business applications to carrier’s healthcare & business customers. His team developed solutions hardened mobile security solutions such as Samsung’s SAFETM mobile platform. SAFETM represents the family of Samsung Enterprise solutions that include the necessary security and feature enhancements suitable for business use. Features that keep company data secure within SAFETM include: Advanced Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync features, On-device AES 256-bit encryption, VPN connectivity, Top-tier, multivendor Mobile Device Management support. He also managed STA’s enterprise pre and post sales engineering organization, enterprise product planning and strategic alliances relationship team and STA's enterprise ISV and SI integration efforts.

Previously at Accenture, he was responsible for North and South American Business Development & Alliances in the Mobile Application Solutions Practice within Systems Integration &Technology, (SI&T). In this role at Accenture, he was responsibility for all Mobility pursuits in the Americas. He managed over $250M of sales opportunity pipeline; authored new Accenture Mobility internal and external collateral, case studies and Point of View’s, managed all of Accenture global Knowledge Management for the Mobility practice. Peter collaborated with all partners/Senior Executives in all verticals and horizontals globally throughout Accenture; and managed all Accenture Mobility alliance relationships globally. Pete led Accenture’s Mobility Alliance relationships with Microsoft, AT&T, Dexterra & Vettro, (bought by Antenna, now Pega Systems), Sybase, (now SAP), ClickSoftware, Pyxis Mobile, (now Verivo), Syclo, (now SAP), Motorola, (now Google), and many others while managing the group’s new business pipeline and opportunity generation efforts.

At Capgemini, Peter led the Mobile Practice for the Western United States and Western Canada in North America. He focused on application development, platform integration services, mobile strategy engagements and SaaS, PaaS and Managed Mobility opportunities. Peter helped author Capgemini Mobility mobile strategy methodology, case studies and points of view for the practice, as well as performed delivery oversight of application development, platform integration, strategy engagements and pursuit progress and P & L. He collaborated with senior executives in verticals and horizontals globally throughout company, managed Capgemini Mobility alliance relationships globally, worked to develop new offerings in TEMS, Social Media, Omni/All Channel Experience, Mobile POS Integration, Managed Security, Container and Hypervisor capabilities and worked closely with SAP, SFDC, IBM and KONY on all facets of their respective enterprise mobility platforms.

From the academic perspective, Peter collaborated on the book, "Managing the Mobile Workforce", by David Clemons and Michael Kroth, Ph.D. (11/2010, McGraw Hill). Peter contributed as one of 30+ collaborators on the newly published book. The project included noted business author Stephen Covey, Sharon Allen, Chairperson of Deloitte, and other noted business leaders including executives from KPMG, HP, and others, as a management book on mobile workforce alignment.

From an industry leadership perspective, Peter was Samsung’s representative to Microsoft’s global Mobility Partner Engagement Board, (MPEB), for 2009 through 2011, and was Accenture’s representative to Microsoft’s global Mobility Partner Advisory Council, (MPAC), in 2008. He also has and currently sits on the technical and business boards of several start-up companies.

Overall, Peter has more than 32 years of telecommunications experience. Prior to Capgemini, Samsung and Accenture, he held executive positions and lead efforts at major communications and consulting firms such as Harris, GTE/Verizon, Sprint, Global Crossing, EDS, and BearingPoint.

Based in Frisco, TX, Peter holds an AB in Politics from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA.
